SSH wins Kuwait sewage treatment plant contract

The infrastructure, building design and project management firm in the Middle East, SSH, has said it will be undertaking a major design for a sewage treatment plant for a waterside residential development in Kuwait. The Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City is a 6.4 million m2 waterside residential project, and is being developed by La’ala Al-Kuwait Real Estate Company. SSH will undertake concept, preliminary and detailed design of the treatment plan. The project began in 2002 and is expected to accommodate around 100,000 people on completion. Dubai to install solar panels on all buildings by 2030

The government said on Saturday that Dubai plans to have solar panels installed on the roofs of all buildings by 2030. The desert city state uses massive amounts of energy air-conditioning its skyscrapers and providing water supplies through desalination. Billions of dollars are planned to be spent generating the clean energy.
