The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has opened a traditional public park with facilities to house birds and animals in Al Khor. Al Tawasul Traditional Park is built under Ras Laffan Industrial City Community Outreach Programme (RLIC-COP) over an area of 25,800sqm. It is a family park with a play area, a football ground and an athlete walkway. The park has a separate environment section over an area of 600sqm for housing birds and animals. As cooler temperatures lure Qatar residents outdoors, several government departments have been pushing to increase the number of parks across the country. Macro wins facilities management contract for DECC in Qatar


Macro has secured a contract with Venue Pro Management to provide facilities management to the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) in Qatar. The three year contract involves managed services and computer aided facilities management (CAFM), the London-headquartered facilities management consultancy, a subsidiary of Mace, said in a statement.
